How to access inclusive access UCLA? ›

Inclusive Access works efficiently for students: an email is sent out to students through the UCLA Registrar on easy, free access to course materials before classes begin.

On campuses with flat-fee Inclusive Access programs, the cost can be $20-25/credit hour or $600-750/year.

What is Inclusive Access? Inclusive Access, also known as automatic textbook billing, is a sales model for college textbooks. Digital content is delivered to students by the first day of class, often through a learning management system.

If students choose to opt out, they can do so easily via the UCLA Store course materials tool on your course website or the Inclusive Access materials list link on program emails or by emailing us at inclusiveaccess@asucla.ucla.edu.

Inclusive Access programs usually start with an agreement between an institution, a bookstore, and one or more publishers. On or before the first day of class, digital content is delivered to students, typically through a learning management system.

General public: Individuals over 18 can get a free access-only card. This card is required to use many Library facilities and services but does not allow users to borrow items.

Equitable Access is a form of Inclusive Access, a sales model for college textbooks that automatically bills the cost to students' tuition and fees. Equitable Access programs typically charge students a fixed cost per credit hour, while Inclusive Access may charge students the cost of their individual materials.

What is the difference between Oer and inclusive access? ›

While OER materials are free in at least a digital format, OER books also allow downloading and printing to create a physical format. There are some that are available free in print forms. Inclusive Access is a for-profit business model and will not offer publisher-created materials free of charge.

How do I opt-out of the program? If you wish to opt-out of the program and purchase your materials another way, either through the Campus Store or elsewhere, simply go to https://accessportal.follett.com/2298 by the opt-out deadline (the add/drop date) and create an account.

Degree Completion Application Fee - $100 per application. Inclusive Access Fee - $38 per hour.

Utilize UCLA's Degree Audit System which can be accessed via MyUCLA (http://my.ucla.edu). Login with your UCLA login and password to enter the system.

You may Opt-Out of Inclusive Access by opting out via the email sent from WCU Campus Store to your West Chester University email account (this email is sent about a week prior to the start of classes). A link will be provided in the email that will direct you to a page where you select Opt- Out.
